JUDIKIT PRIVACY POLICY
1. DATA COLLECTION
We collect information you provide directly (such as name, contact details, identity verification documents, and case files), as well as automated usage data (such as IP address, device identifiers, and interaction logs).
2. DATA USAGE AND PROCESSING
Your data is used to provide the JudiKit services, facilitate connections with Lawyers, ensure platform security, and improve our AI models. We process this data as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with your explicit consent (e.g., sharing your case file with a Lawyer you choose to consult), with trusted service providers necessary for platform operation, or when legally required by a government agency.
4. USER RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDP ACT
You have the right to access, correct, update, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time. You may withdraw consent for data processing, though this may restrict your ability to use the Platform. You have the right to nominate another individual and to register grievances with the Data Protection Board of India.
5. DATA RETENTION
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Upon account termination, data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, except where required for legal compliance or dispute resolution.
